Citroën has scooped two prestigious LCV accolades in the Company Car and Van Awards 2021. The multi-award-winning Citroën Berlingo Van has been named ‘Small Van of the Year’, while the Citroën Jumpy took the much-coveted ‘Medium Van of the Year’ prize.
This is the third consecutive win for Citroën Berlingo in the Company Car and Van Awards, having previously taken home the ‘Small Van of the Year’ trophy in 2019 and again in 2020. This recognition from Company Car and Van magazine continues an impressive run of form for Berlingo Van and for the Citroën LCV range as a whole.
Citroën Berlingo Van impressed the Company Car and Van judges with its range of efficient engines, its practical design and its impressive loading capacity. With up to 1,000kg maximum payload and load volume of up to 4.4m3, Citroën Berlingo Van is ideal for those businesses looking for an economical and practical work companion.
Andrew Walker, Editor of Company Car and Van magazine, said: “The Berlingo Van does what it says on the tin. It offers a great payload, comes very well designed, and it is good to drive. Add in the tech-friendly cabin, excellent build quality and impressive full economy and you have one of the leading vans in the sector.”
Berlingo Van was joined in the celebrations by Citroën Jumpy, which grabbed the ‘Medium Van of the Year’ win.
Available in ‘X’, ‘Enterprise’ and ‘Driver’ trim and with a choice of lengths (XS, M and XL), Citroën Jumpy suits a range of business needs, with a maximum load volume of 6.6m3 and a payload of up to 1,469kg.
The Company Car and Van team was impressed by the Jumpy van’s ‘classy cabin’, practical storage facilities and array of user-friendly connected technology to enhance the operator experience, with a drive that feels as fresh as when the model first launched in 2016.
Eurig Druce, Managing Director of Citroën UK said: “It’s fantastic to see that the Citroën Berlingo Van has been named ‘Small Van of the Year’ for the third year running. Citroën Jumpy winning ‘Medium Van of the Year’ is the cherry on top. It’s extremely gratifying to see them media and industry experts recognising the extensive work that goes into the development of our van range, work that ensures we can deliver practical and business-friendly LCV models for to our many UK customers.”
